6 Houseplants I regret buying
Houseplants can be a joy to own, but I regret buying these ..
1. Air Plant (Tillandsia spp.)
No soil needed, just air. How am I supposed to show off my gardening skills?
2. Philodendron ‘Pink Princess’ (Philodendron erubescens)
Too pretty, makes my other houseplants look ugly.
3. Rubber Plant (Ficus elastica)
Dark and lush, yet somehow lacking the drama I was promised.
4. ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)
Too indestructible; I’m starting to think it’s actually plastic.
5. Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum)
Keeps popping out babies, and I’m running out of pots.
6. Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata)
Too resilient, it thrives on neglect. Makes me feel unnecessary.
